Eating around Ernst Museum #2

Recommending venues to go out is a big responsibility to undertake. Therefore this  time I decided to take into consideration advise from the City Spy Maps, one of the creating guides around European cities, created for those who prefer special but simple treatment😉

The first place that deserves introduction in situated on the Kazinczy utca, a street that I personally find a great alternative to the restaurant Raday street🙂 Called El Rapido, it is a Mexican fast-food. Here a smily lady with make you the best quesadilla you have ever tried in your life! If you would like to reproduce the culinary extravaganza at home there is a choice of traditional ingredients to buy, which you can also supplement with a rare drink also sold here, for example such a seldom guest in Budapest Dr Pepper. In addition to fast-food there is a bar place downstairs, decorated with a plenty of retro items. To get to the restaurant from Ernst Museum you will have to walk for a while, nevertheless it totally worth it!

Of you do not feel like walking I would recommend you the Ring Cafe, another from Spy maps suggestions. The place is famous as a number 1 burger place in the city. Situated right on the Andrassy street, the place is easy to find and convenient to visit. Find the map on the cafe’s Facebook page.

Finally, going back to the Kazinczy utca, I definitely recommend you 400 bar. Here, in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, you can both have a great meal and listen to a Hungarian band or a DJ, who perform here nearly every night. The food served here is various, and includes a selection from serbian cuisine, which is really rare in Budapest.

I wish you to have a great cultural program for a day with those tips!

Sorry, but El Rapido SUCKS! Seriously, the worst “Mexican” food I’ve ever had. And the lady that works there is NOT smiley. At all.
